Flying Kite's On the Ground presents Transformation. Northwest Philadelphia.
This exhibition is being presented through Flying Kite's On the Ground program. ON THE GROUND is a pilot initiative of Flying Kite that creates a temporary media hub in a vacant or under-utilized storefront or building and takes a deep dive on neighborhood transformation through news coverage, events and social media. After 90 days, it's on to the next neighborhood.
We are excited to showcase the artists connected to Germantown, Mt. Airy and Chestnut Hill as they help us transform our empty storefront and breathe some life into it. Furthermore, our hope is to bring together Northwest Philadelphia artists and residents to celebrate creativity and innovation, which can serve as a catalyst for business and cultural development along Germantown's corridors.
Everyone is welcome to attend. This event is free. Light refreshments and drinks will be made available. We hope you will join us.
Exhibit runs from February 1 - March 8.
